Deepika Padukone had dinner with Indian Olympian Lakshya Sen and Ranveer Singh's family in Bandra

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 21 : Pregnant Deepika Padukone enjoyed a pleasant evening in Mumbai, dining with her husband Ranveer Singh's family and Indian Olympian badminton player Lakshya Sen.

The evening was highlighted by a warm embrace between Deepika and Lakshya Sen outside the restaurant where they dined.

Deepika, who is expecting her first child in September, looked glowing in a black bodycon dress paired with an oversized black blazer. Her long wavy hair fell freely, complemented by a black handbag, showcasing effortless style.

During the outing, Lakshya Sen was seen conversing warmly with Ranveer's sister.

Lakshya Sen recently gained attention for his impressive performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he reached the semi-finals but lost to Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia in the bronze medal match. His Olympic journey was closely followed, and his meeting with Deepika reflected a mix of personal and professional connections.

Deepika's father, Prakash Padukone, a former renowned Indian badminton player, served as a key mentor for the Indian badminton team at the Paris Olympics 2024.

On the professional front, Deepika will next appear in 'Singham Again,' set to release during Diwali 2024. Directed by Rohit Shetty, 'Singham Again' also stars Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff.

'Singham Again' is the third installment of the successful franchise, following 'Singham' in 2011 and 'Singham Returns' in 2014, both of which were box office hits.
