HM Amit Shah, CM Manik Saha and JP Nadda express gratitude to people of Tripura for massive win in local body polls

New Delhi [India], August 14 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, and BJP National President JP Nadda expressed their gratitude to the people of Tripura for the historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the local body elections.

Amit Shah took to X to convey his thanks, stating, "Heartfelt gratitude to the people of Tripura for blessing the BJP with a historic victory in the local bodies' elections. This victory belongs to them." He also congratulated Chief Minister Manik Saha, state BJP President Rajiv Bhattacharjee, and the BJP workers for their efforts in promoting the pro-development and people-centric initiatives of the Modi government.

Chief Minister Manik Saha also expressed his thanks on X, saying, "Huge thanks to the voters for the thunderous victory in Gram Panchayats, Zilla Parishads & Panchayat Samitis! Your trust means the world to us. Deeply grateful to PM Narendra Modi Ji & BJP President JP Nadda Ji for their visionary guidance & unwavering support."

In the recent three-tier Panchayat elections held on August 8, the BJP achieved a decisive victory, securing several wards across multiple constituencies in the state.

JP Nadda, in his message on X, said, "I thank the people of Tripura for choosing the BJP in the Panchayat elections. This victory will be instrumental in the development of the people of Tripura within PM Narendra Modi Ji's vision of 'Viksit Bharat@2047'." He praised Chief Minister Manik Saha for his efforts in driving progress and prosperity in the state and commended the work of BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee and BJP workers for effectively communicating PM Modi's message of 'Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas.'

The BJP's landslide victory included winning 34 Panchayat Samities, all 8 Zilla Parishads, and 585 out of 606 Gram Panchayats.
