K Keshava Rao leaves Rajya Sabha subsequent to joining Congress
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 5 Previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) pioneer K Keshava Rao, who rejoined the Congress party on Wednesday, has surrendered as a Rajya Sabha part.
Keshava Rao rejoined the Congress on Wednesday within the sight of party pioneers including party boss Mallikarjun Kharge, previous party boss Rahul Gandhi and Telangana Boss Priest Revanth Reddy.
"Commendable homecoming! We invite senior pioneer, Shri K. Keshav Rao ji to the Congress party. We are certain that his immense involvement with public help will fortify the Congress party in Telangana," Kharge said in a post on 'X' on Wednesday.
Keshava Rao is a previous head of Andhra Pradesh Congress Panel. He had joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), then Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in 2013 and has gotten back to Congress after more than 10 years.
