Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios makes a groundbreaking arrival in Nepal

Kathmandu [Nepal], August 29: Sheynnis Palacios, the current Miss Universe 2023, arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday morning, marking her first visit to Nepal.

Palacios's arrival comes ahead of the Miss Universe Nepal pageant scheduled for next week.

"I'm thrilled to be here for the first time in Nepal. I'm eager to learn about your culture and the wonderful people here. Thanks to the Miss Universe Organization," Palacios said upon arriving in Kathmandu.

She landed with her team of three members.

"I'm very excited and can't wait to meet everyone and share some insights on being Miss Universe with the contestants," Palacios expressed her enthusiasm about the upcoming interactions with the Miss Universe Nepal contestants.

Palacios won the Miss Universe 2023 title at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant on November 18, 2023, held at the Gimnasio Nacional Jose Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador, succeeding R'Bonney Gabriel from the United States.

Previously, Palacios competed in Miss World 2021 as Miss World Nicaragua 2020, where she reached the Top 40. She was later crowned Miss Universe Nicaragua 2023, representing Nicaragua in the Miss Universe competition.

The Miss Universe Nepal finale is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu on September 7, featuring 22 finalists competing for the title.
