Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 6 : Following its box office success in 2012, Ajay Devgn is set to captivate audiences once more with the sequel to the action-comedy 'Son of Sardaar'. The production has officially begun in the UK.

Ajay Devgn shared this exciting development with his fans on Instagram, announcing the film's Muhurat.

In the video posted by Ajay, he is seen offering prayers before starting the shoot, and his son, Yug Devgan, who was also at the UK event, posed with the film's clapboard.

The video features several scenes of Ajay wearing a turban.

Mrunal Thakur, the film's leading lady, spread joy on set by playing the dhol and wearing traditional Punjabi clothing.

Ajay captioned the post, "The journey of #SonOfSardaar2 begins with prayers, blessings, and an amazing team."

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film will have an extensive shooting schedule in the UK before moving to India.

Recently, Ajay Devgn interacted with fans on Instagram through an 'Ask Me Anything' session, responding with humor to inquiries about the sequel to his popular film 'Son of Sardaar'.

A day before the release of his new romantic thriller 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha', Devgn responded to a fan's question about the sequel with, "Thoda ruk jaao Paaji," meaning "Just wait a bit, buddy."

The original 'Son of Sardaar', directed by Ashwani Dhir, stars Devgn alongside Sonakshi Sinha and revolves around Jassi, a man who returns to his ancestral village in Punjab and becomes entangled in a family feud.

Despite mixed reviews, the film was noted for its lively performances and engaging soundtrack.
