Sunny Deol, who himself enjoyed a significant box office hit with "Gadar 2" last year, shared his enthusiasm for "Stree 2" on social media. "Stree 2," starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, debuted on August 15 and has quickly emerged as a favorite among moviegoers, outperforming other films released on the same day, such as "Khel Khel Mein" and "Vedaa."

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh described the film's performance as a "storm" or "tsunami" that has significantly impacted the box office. He highlighted that "Stree 2" achieved a remarkable extended weekend performance, reaching Rs 200 crore in just four days—a historic achievement for a mid-sized film.
